Restorations Highlights

The Antique Polishers will restore your furniture backed to its original condition, providing high quality workmanship doing the job the traditional way. A full restoration requires disassemble of all the furniture components and removing the old varnishes by hand stripping with liquid strippers and then hand sanding. Sometimes we can restore the old polish without stripping, retaining the old patina colour and finish. Any rebuilding is always done by our qualified cabinetmakers. We have over 30 years of experience in the repairing of all antiques, specialising in restoring damaged chairs, tables and drawer runners. We restore all types of antique furniture to modern furniture using top trades people. We can bring your treasured pieces back to life for you and future generations to enjoy and cherish. We always work sympathetically with your furniture using aged, recycled wood and matching original hardware were possible. We can also do any leadlight repairs that are needed. For a personal quote to bring your treasured piece back to is original condition email a photo to us at antique_polishers@hotmail.com or Phone us today on 07 3356 7058. Better still drop in and see us at 46 Days Road Grange QLD 4051, as we'd like the opportunity to meet you and discuss in person any of your antique needs.
